Real Madrid Welcome Back Manager Carlo Ancelotti! The Italian has returned to manage the Spanish giants for a second stint.

Real Madrid has announced Carlo Ancelotti as the newest manager. He takes over from Zinedine Zidane on a three year contract.

“Real Madrid C. F. announces that Carlo Ancelotti will be the club’s first-team coach for the next three seasons.

“The ceremonial signing of the contract will take place tomorrow with club president Florentino Pérez at Real Madrid City, after which Ancelotti will address the media from 6pm (CET) in an online press conference.” The club said in a press conference.

Ancelotti was in charge of Real Madrid between 2013 and 2015. In that period, he won the club te prestigious La Decima (10^th UEFA Champions League title).

In had been 12 years since they last won Europe’s elite title before Ancelotti brought an end to that barren run. He was fired at the end of the 2014/2015 season after failing to win a single trophy.

In 2013/2014, his first season, he won the Copa Del Rey and UEFA Champions League.

“I would like to thank Everton FC, my players and the supporters for giving me the opportunity to manage this fantastic and historical club. I decided to leave as I have a new challenge with a team that was always in my heart, Real Madrid.

“I leave taking with me all the amazing moments we have experienced together and wish the Club and fans all the best.” Ancelotti said in a statement.

“I would like to thank the board of directors, the players, and the Evertonians for the tremendous support they have all given me during my time at the club.

“I have complete respect for everyone associated with Everton and hope they can achieve the exciting opportunities they have in front of them.

“While I have enjoyed being at Everton I have been presented with an unexpected opportunity which I believe is the right move for me and my family at this time.”
