Reports Suggest Orlando Pirates Have Received International Offer for Olisa Ndah! The Nigerian defender has impressed ever since he arrived in the country.

Orlando Pirates have allegedly received an offer from Italian club Sassuolo for Olisa Ndah. The club may have to consider the offer due to the nature of the money.

Ndah joined Orlando Pirates at the beginning of the last campaign. Ever since he arrived in the PSL, he has impressed and the general consensus was that a move to Europe was in the beckoning.

His performances have seen him become a mainstay in their defence. He was also in the Nigeria squad for the 2022 AFCON.

“He was not going to Pirates (originally) … his wish has always been to play abroad,” an insider told Phakaaathi.

“Coming to Pirates was just his passage to go to Europe. He attracted a lot of interest in his first few games with the club and already the management knew that he was not going to last.

“Sassuolo have offered them (Pirates) good money for his services, I don’t think any team would want to decline it.”

The Buccaneers are unwilling to let him go in the middle of the season. They would have to find a replacement for Ndah.

“It is really a good offer and the club is willing to let him go, but obviously they won’t just let him go without having plans for a replacement. The club was struggling centre-backs for a long time and after finding Ndah things became better.

“There is also Tapelo Xoki and Nkosinathi Sibisi, but what happens when something goes wrong with one of them? So, those are some of the things that the club is looking for.

“There needs to be a proper replacement, and it is going to be tough to find someone like him (Ndah).” The source concluded.
