Riaan Hanamub Believes They Can Win Against Royal AM! Usuthu take on rivals Usuthu in the league this weekend.

AmaZulu travel to visit Royal AM in the DSTV Premiership on Sunday afternoon. Left back Riaan Hanamub is confident that they have the necessary quality to win the match.

Both teams played out to a scoreless draw in their last matches. Despite this, the Namibian international believes they have what it takes to claim all three points in this Kwa-Zulu Natal derby.

“It is not about Royal AM; we are focusing on ourselves. We look at what we have and what we can do,” Hanamub told the club media.

“I think we are more than capable of taking the game to them and hopefully come back with the three points.

“The derby is not about form; it is about who wants it the most on the day.

“So, we can’t look down on them and think that since they are struggling, we will [easily] get the three points.” He concluded.

Both teams have had technical changes to their benches. This has heavily hampered the progress they were making.

Royal AM saw the departure of Dan Malesela, leaving Khabo Zondo and Abram Nteo in charge of the team. Since then, their fortunes have severely dwindled.

AmaZulu on the other hand fired Brandon Truter for Romain Folz. The French-Moroccan has won only won match in the several he has been in charge of.
