Romain Folz Does Not Want To Give Orlando Pirates Special Respect! Usuthu take on The Buccaneers in their next league match.

AmaZulu visit Orlando Pirates in the DSTV Premiership on Friday night. Newly appointed head coach Romain Folz does wants to approach this game like any other game.

This will be his first match in charge of Usuthu since taking over the reigns from Brandon Truter. He is tasked with putting an end to their three-game losing streak.

Folz has already visited the Orlando Stadium this season. He oversaw a 1-0 loss while still coaching Marumo Gallants, after an early Paseka Mako goal.

“It is always trying to fix what was not going right and the importance of the next three games and the opponents, I look at every game the same way,” Folz told the club media.

“Of course, we are aware of what they can do, how they play and what we can expect from them.

“But we won’t change the way we approach the game. Whether we play Pirates, Maritzburg, or Chiefs, we will approach the game the same.” He boldly stated.

The Frenchman has also boldly stated that he wishes to take this team to great heights. He wants to fulfil the desires of chairman Sandile Zungu.

“For me, it’s a good opportunity for me to showcase my work. It is a sign that the previous work in my old club caught the eye of the people,” he said after his appointment.

“As much as I could’ve done better with my former team, I think we developed some very good football so it’s a progression from me on a personal matter. It’s a club (AmaZulu) with more history.

“More than that, it comes down to what the club is looking for in terms of vision and ambition this season and the seasons after that.” He added.
