Romain Folz Excited to Take on Former Side Marumo Gallants! Usuthu play against Bahlabane Ba Ntwa in the league today.

AmaZulu will visit Marumo Gallants in the DSTV Premiership tonight. Head coach Romain Folz is looking forward to the prospect of facing his former employers.

Fohloza was announced as head coach of Bahlabane Ba Ntwa at the beginning of the season. He oversaw six matches before his sudden and immediate departure from the club.

The Frenchman cited interference from chairman Abram Sello.

Folz is now the head coach of AmaZulu, after they fired Brandon Truter.

“I’m not worried, I know it’s going to come. To be honest, I prefer to win a solid 2-0 than a 6-4 for example,” Folz told the media ahead of the match.

“As much as I want us to score, and I know we will. My priority is to get the team balanced. For every team coming to play us or us going to play them. 

“For everyone to find a different task playing against us. It was the case against Chiefs.

“They have a very good team. For us to deny them creating chances against us, I think it’s a big accomplishment.” He added.

Incredibly, Romain Folz is still looking for his first ever win in South African football. He mustered 5 draws and one defeat in his time with Bahlabane Ba Ntwa, while drawing his first three matches in charge at Usuthu.
