Ronaldo finishes as Top Goal Scorer in UCL.

Before the Kickoff Cristiano Ronaldo was one goal behind Lionel Messi. It seemed as if Messi was destined for the Golden Boot, if Ronaldo was to clinch it, he had to score two goals.

It seemed quite far fetched for even one of the best footballers in the world to score two goals in a Champions League final, against Italian giants Juventus.

However the Portuguese was able to net his teams first goal in the 19th minute of the game and later scored his teams third and his second of the game, overtaking Messi by one goal, finishing with 12 goals.

This is the fifth consecutive time he scoops the Golden Boot in the Champions League. Overall Ronaldo has scored 105 goals in the Champions League, more than any other player.
