Ronwen Williams Expecting War Against Chippa United! The Matsatsantsa goalkeeper is aware of the challenge which awaits them.

SuperSport United travel to face Chippa United in the DSTV Premiership tomorrow. Captain and goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is ready for a tough battle.

Ronwen Williams, promoted into the first team by Gavin Hunt, knows too well the difficulties Gavin Hunt teams pose.

“Our next match is away against Chippa United in East London this coming weekend.” Williams said to the SuperSport United media.

“They are a very tricky side, and they have a wonderful, experienced coach in Gavin Hunt.

“But we have analysed them, and preparations have been going well. It’s going to be war out there and our soldiers need to step up and be prepared.

“That’s what SuperSport United is about, being a team, being United and we have been all that, we need to keep it that way.” He added.

Williams also had a word of positivity for Jesse Donn and Luke Fleurs. Both youngsters were in Bafana Bafana’s provisional squad for the upcoming international matches.

Hugo Broos did eventually retract them from the final 23-man squad.

“Regarding the senior national team call-ups, it was exciting to see Luke Fleurs and Jesse Donn’s names in the Bafana Bafana’s provisional squad.

“They two have done very well for themselves and obviously the team. I’m glad they got the recognition from the national coach.

“I hope it will push more guys to work harder because the coach has shown that he rewards good consistent performances.” He concluded.

Kick-off tomorrow is 15h00 at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium.
