Ronwen Williams Wants To Make South Africa Proud! Bafana Bafana drew 1-1 with Ghana in an AFCON Qualifier at the FNB Stadium yesterday.

This means that South Africa only needs a point away to Sudan on Sunday to qualify. Williams is convinced that the team will do everything they can to secure qualification.

“The mood at the camp is good, one of excitement.” He told his club SuperSport United.

Bafana Bafana lost key midfielder Andile Jali to injury in the first half yesterday. This compounded to the injury woes for Molefi Ntseki.

“It’s a big loss to the team but we can’t dwell much on that, we have a wonderful and capable squad to achieve qualification,” he added.

“It’s wonderful news for the two players, having their eyes on being at the Olympics and I’m sure they will do well,” he lauded

“Bash is such a wonderful professional, he is always working hard and he is a wonderful role model to all of us at United, I’m glad he is back in the national setup.

“He has done extremely well for the longest time, he deserves it,”

With one more game in the qualifiers to go, Williams called for the support of the South African faithful.

“We need our supporters now more than ever, we need that positive energy and we will do our utmost best to do them proud,” he concluded.
