Royal AM Chairman Andile Mpisane Is Back in Training! The club owner is on a mission to regain his full fitness.
Andile Mpisane is back in training as he hopes to be in top physical shape. He is yet to make an appearance in the DSTV Premiership.
When Royal AM plied their trade in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, Mpisane regularly played and even started games for the team. This has not happened since 2021, when they bought the PSL status of Bloemfontein Celtic for R60 million.
The DSTV Premiership is a step up from the Motsepe Foundation Championship, meaning that he had to work much harder to gain a place in the team. The club also had huge administrative issues after taking over from Celtic.
Mpisane himself also had a lot on his plate, as he married within the past two years. He has also found time to channel his inner musician, releasing a couple of songs.
Turmoil has never been far away from him, as ex-girlfriend Sithelo Shozi claimed that the children they share were abducted by him from her, and she was forced to take a DNA test as well.
“As if that was not enough, I was also summoned to undergo the DNA test. This was done to confirm if I am indeed the biological mother … I obliged.” Fakaza News reported.
“I had no qualms undergoing the DNA test. I was faithful and loyal to [Mpisane] during our relationship.
“What I objected to was the manner in which they approached it — it is unlawful to abduct the child and force us to undergo the DNA tests.”
He will be hoping to make an official appearance this season. Royal AM Chairman Andile Mpisane Is Back in Training!
