Being a professional footballer is tough given the constant pressure that one is often subjected when playing at a high level, domestically as well as internationally hence family is critical.

In order to cope with the pressure’s of being a professional footballer Moeneeb Josephs says his family is always there to comfort him and provide the support that necessitates his proficiency on the field of play.

Moeneeb Josephs is a typical family man that acknowledges the importance of having his loved ones around,”Family has been my safety net, even when I was at Orlando Pirates sometimes you get criticised left right and centre, you get criticised at national level but then you go back to your family which is your security. To have them is important because they don’t see you for the footballer they see you as the family man and the dad that you are”, said Josephs.
