SA’s greatest centre back of all time

Talk about South African football and the name Lucas Radebe is sure to pop up in any football conversation. Radebe is a true football icon that excelled during his days at Kaizer Chiefs before moving abroad where he turned out for Leeds United.

Radebe who boasts of being one of the few South African footballers to play in the English topflight represented South Africa on 70 occassions.

Lucas was part of the Bafana Bafana side which won the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations. Radebe is without doubt South Africa’s greatest centre back of all time.
