Sbahle Mpisane Admits Lying About Forgetting Relationship With Khune After Car Accident

Sbahle Mpisane, the ex-girlfriend of Itumeleng Khune has admitted to lying about not remembering the relationship he had with the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper after the car accident. In 2018 the step-daughter of Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize was involved in a horrific car accident along with her friends. She reportedly spent weeks in a coma and months in ICU. She is still recovering after being broken both legs during the accident.

SBAHLE ON KHUNE’S AMNESIA

She started a YouTube channel where she shared life stories with YouTuber Owamie Netshivhazwaulu. She said her family members and friends had to introduce themselves to her after she woke up. Last month, they shot an episode where she spoke about not remembering her relationship with Khune.

“To be honest, I don’t remember that past, the beginning part. All I remember is that we used to speak every day on the phone while I was in the hospital. I enjoyed it, I didn’t have many visitors and I didn’t have my phone because I would be posting. We used the hospital landline,” she told Owamie.

She said she loved Khune’s attention as she didn’t have many visitors at the hospital and also she didn’t have cellphone. “Yes, he is my ex. I am appreciative of the time he gave me. It was beautiful. I was told he was my boyfriend, the person I loved. I did have moments to try and figure out what I loved about him. As much as I loved talking to him, I wouldn’t fully understand everything.”

“When I was in the hospital, he had a hun he was busy with. When I left the hospital it kind of became difficult to see him. When I left the hospital, I felt like a virgin again. So, I decided that we should break up in peace, and I was happy. I was very relieved when we broke up,” she says.

“He was a good person during my time in hospital, but I broke up with him because he couldn’t give me his time and I wanted his time. I also knew the girl he was busy with – it was the wife.”

She added that they didn’t decide to go public as an item but it happened for itself because of social media. “We didn’t decide to go public, it just happened. I think posting, either way, he was fine with him.”

However, Sbahle recently shot a live Instagram video where she confessed that she lied about forgetting her relationship with the Chiefs goalkeeper. She actually did that because there was too much pressure upon her with people asking bout her dating life instead of her health.

“I only said that because obviously y’all wanted answers unnecessarily. I was going through a very fragile state, and I just felt like that was not something to focus on and for y’all to be bombarding me with. I just said amnesia, I don’t remember him. Obviously, I do remember him. I spoke to him every day whilst in hospital. He would come to visit me, a lot. We were cool and everything.

“In relation to people saying: ‘Aah, she remembers everything, but she doesn’t remember Khune.’ I was just fooling y’all, nothing much. Sonke we must play each other. Instead of people giving me peace, they ask stupid questions. I said amnesia.” She added that they broke up peacefully, “We spoke and broke up. Nothing bitter.”
