Senzo Meyiwa’s Father, Sam Has Died! Almost five years after his soccer superstar son’s untimely death, Sam Meyiwa has also died.
Earlier this year, his family told Daily Sun that Samuel Meyiwa‘s health had been deteriorating because Senzo’s murder case had not been solved. Sam was reported to have been in and out of the hospital since August 2018 when he suffered his first stroke.
His family confirmed that he died on Monday morning at his home in Umlazi in Durban after suffering a second stroke. Sadly he has passed on before his son’s case was solved. May his soul rest in peace.
