Sergio Aguero Joins Barcelona On A Free Transfer! The veteran striker has left England after his contract had expired.

Sergio Aguero joins Barcelona on a free transfer from Manchester City. His contract had expired after a successful 10 years in England.

The Argentine leaves The Cityzens as their all-time leading goal scorer. Aguero scored 260 for Manchester City.

Of these 260 goals, 184 of them came in the Premier League. The most for a foreign player in the division.

“It is an immense joy because since I was a kid, and even more so now with Messi, I have thought that Barça is the best club in the world.” Aguero told the press upon his unveiling.

“Any player that’s offered the chance to play at Barça, will come running. I’ll try to do my best to help the club to win big things” the striker added.

“I hope we can play together” said the new signing.

“But the thing with Leo is that he will make decisions with the club. I have been with him since a kid with the national team, I know him very well, and I think he’ll stay here.

“We’ll try to do the best we can for the club.

“I’ve felt really good this last four months and the most important thing is that my knee is perfect.” Aguero added.

His signing is even more ammunition for Ronald Koeman. They also boast the likes of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite and Ansu Fati in the forward position.

They will be looking to do well in the following campaign.
