Tshabalala: “The League Is Improving And Every Team Is Tough Now”
The current reigning PSL champions Kaizer Chiefs had a poor start to the Absa Premiership this campaign, and the Amakhosi captain Siphiwe Tshabalala feels that the slow start has to do with high competitiveness of the PSL. He agrees to what was said by Teko Modise that there are no longer “bigger” or “smaller” teams in the league, that is why the league is more interesting and difficult to predict.
However Tshabalala believes Kaizer Chiefs had a good start this season ,even though they lost the MTN8 final march, they have not lost a league match this season.
“We are happy with our start to the season,” Tshabalala told Goal.com
“The good thing is that we haven’t lost a game yet, although we would have liked to win more than we have drawn but you know the league is improving and every team is tough now.
Shabba warned his Kaizer Chiefs teammates that every team has to be taken seriously.
“Every team wants to better one another, which is helping to improve the game.”
“We can’t undermine any team that we play against as that would cost us points, but this is good for the game in this country as it’s improving,” concluded Tshabalala.
