Shabba – A Great Man That’s Always Willing To Be Little
Siphiwe Tshabalala is one of the best players in the history of South African football. He found his way through to many of the South Africans’ hearts when he scored that historical goal in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Thereafter his career went to greater heights with Kaizer Chiefs and he also achieved his dream of playing overseas at a later stage. But one thing many compliment him for is his humility.
As much as he is aware of his greatness but he always wants to stay on the ground. Many journalists and presenters who have interviewed the man will recall the constant smile on his face when responding to questions. That normally shows respect.

He recently posted a picture on social media where he was in the little tent of a street vendor who’s selling some sweets, chips, etc. He was just simply demonstrating support to a local small business.
WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO RECOGNISE THE UNKNOWN?
People like professional footballers were born with natural talent but that talent alone can’t make one successful in everything if there is no support. As a player, what if one day you get into the field and fans shout and say they don’t want you to play? That’s possible because the club is theirs. So the players are players because of fans (public including the street vendors that Shabba buys from).

WHAT IS TSHABALALA DOING NOW?
As a seasoned footballer who has done almost everything he wanted to do in the game, Tshabalala surely has a lot on the table outside of playing football. But the most important part is that he’s not retired as of yet according to his agent Jazzman Mahlakgane who confirmed in January.
“He has not retired. I don’t want to start any conversations about Tshabalala at the moment because I might get distracted as we are currently busy working on something for him,” Mahlakgane said as per KickOff.
