Shaun Bartlett Not Panicking Despite Slow Start from Cape Town Spurs! The Urban Warriors have endured a difficult return to the big time.

Cape Town Spurs have lost all five of their matches in the DSTV Premiership this season. Head coach Shaun Bartlett remains calm despite the disappointing start to the campaign.

After five straight losses in their stat to the new season, it is no surprise that The Urban Warriors are rooted to the bottom of the DSTV Premiership table. After three years of relegation, this is not the return they would have hoped for. 

Bartlett’s men will have hope to have used the past FIFA break to sharpen their swords if they are to make changes to their fortunes.

“We’ve got a lot of work to do,” Bartlett told the club website.  

“From all aspects, whether it be coaches, players or from senior management. We need to work together to find that solution and turn the season around.

“If you say its panic stations, I think it’s too early, there’s a lot of games to be played but at the end of the day, the points are getting less.” He added.

Cape Town Spurs were meant to take on Orlando Pirates in the return of domestic football, but the match has been postponed. This is because The Buccaneers are participating in CAF football.
