Sifiso Hlanti is happy that he is now playing for Kaizer Chiefs. This is the biggest club he has represented in his 10-year PSL career.
Hlanti started training with Amakhosi at the beginning of last season. This is after he became a free agent following the sale of Bidvest Wits.
Gavin Hunt lured him to training at Naturena. However, because of their 1-year transfer ban, Hlanti could not be registered at Chiefs.
He signed with Swallows FC for only a year, knowing that he would return to Amakhosi at the beginning of this season.
“I am looking forward to seeing myself being part of the team as much as I can,” Hlanti told the Kaizer Chiefs website.
“The mentality I have is positive. What matters the most for me is being a respectful person and knowing what the task of being in a team like Kaizer Chiefs is.” He spoke.
“Kaizer Chiefs is a big brand – we all know, and I respect that,” enthuses Hlanti. “As a footballer, I am positive about everything, and I know there will be a lot of challenges and expectation but what matters the most is how I react and respond.” He has said.
Kaizer Chiefs have put current left backs Philani Zulu and Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya on the transfer list. This has opened space for Sifiso Hlanti and Sibusiso Mabiliso.
The experienced left back will hope to fulfil the duties. Sifiso Hlanti Feels Honoured & Privileged to Play for Kaizer Chiefs!
