Siphiwe Tshabalala Remains a Thoroughbred Nike Athlete. The former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs winger had a career to be envied by many. Despite his glittering career, he will always be remembered for the goal he scored at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The first ever World Cup goal scored on African soil.

Since his retirement from football, Shabba has been seen at many Kaizer Chiefs games. The man still looks exactly the same. Another thing that remains the same is Tshabalala’s relationship with Nike.

Tshabalala can be seen still sporting the American sportswear company. Tshabalala has amassed a vast collection of Nike apparel in his professional career. He still dons the Nike apparel when he goes out exercising and completing living room challenges in his Roodepoort home.

Shabba is a frequent exerciser. He still does a plethora of exercises to keep in shape. This way, he still maintains the physique to don Nike apparel.

The former Free State Stars winger still has his pair of Nike boots that he scored that goal in. Famously, Peter Drury claims that the opening goal at the 2010 FIFA World Cup is his favourite football moment.

Even better than commentating at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Final and Sergio Aguero’s title winner against QPR in 2012. Drury also claimed that Siphiwe Tshabalala is his favourite player in the world.

Siphiwe can be seen doing charity work with his Siphiwe Tshabalala foundation. The organisation has been especially busy during the Covid-19 times. They’ve provided food relief and any other necessities required.
