Sipho Mbule Wants to Score More Goals for Mamelodi Sundowns! The midfielder is keen to contribute more to the team.

Sipho Mbule has just finished his debut season with Mamelodi Sundowns. He wishes to be more involved in the success of the team moving forward.

Mbule had to bide his time and work very hard before making the first team at The Brazilians. This is because of the quality and quantity of players in his position.

However, in the second half of the season, Sipho Mbule became more prevalent in the team. He finished the season as a regular starter in midfield for the club.

Now that he has earned his place, he wishes to score more goals and provide more assists in the coming season.

“In the coming season I think for me I need to score more goals, be involved and play more often because at Sundowns we always have the ball,” Mbule spoke.

“I think I need to improve on being more involved in the games, make those assists and score goals for the team. As a team I think we’ve been doing well.

“The thing that was missing was just managing the game, but I think we are going to improve on that.” He spoke.

Mbule joined from SuperSport United at the beginning of the season. He followed the likes of Aubrey Modiba, Grant Kekana, Teboho Mokoena and Ronwen Williams.

These familiar faces helped him settle in at Chloorkop.

“I think they [former teammates] made it easier also because I had been playing with them for quite some time at SuperSport and the others we’ve met through the national team.

“When I came it didn’t feel like a different environment for me and beside my teammates, I think everyone here has a good heart and everyone here always has an ear to listen to you when you want to say something. I think my stay here has been quite nice.” He concluded.
