Sizwe Nzimande leaves Sundowns
Sizwe Nzimande leaves Sundowns. Sizwe Nzimande general manager of Sundowns might be on his way out. Sources say that he's leaving his position at the Chloorkop-based club.
After stepping down from his role as the head of sports at SABC, he went to work for President of Sundowns, Patrice Motsepe in 2013. He was then appointed as Sundowns general manager the following year. He might be leaving the GM position but he is rumoured to be part of the Motsepe Foundation. Nzimande and Motsepe are said to have a really good working relationship hence the progression. Nzimande has played a very influential role in the CAF champions league winning teams. He is also known for making sure that the former Sundowns player Keagan Dolly's football career reached its full potential. An official announcement is expected to be made by the club in a few days, and we are also looking forward to see who Nzimande's replacement will be.
