Soccer Fans React To Baxter Calling Thulani Serero For National Duty! After snubbing Stuart Baxter almost a year ago for a chance to join the Bafana Bafana squad, Serero is back and on the Bafana squad to face Nigeria next month.
Back in November 2017, Serero had snubbed Baxter’s call saying he wanted to be guaranteed game-time to come play for Bafana. Fast forward to now, Baxter has explained why he has given the star a second chance.
““I am working from the assumption that everybody can make a poor decision and I thought his decision was poor when he didn’t want to come back, and that’s okay. But I do think everybody’s got a right to a second chance. With me, this is his second chance,” Baxter said on his decision.
Soccer fans had something to say about Serero’s return.

Too much fanfare about Thulani Serero’s call back to the senior man’s national team does not hold water… He’s one of those players who reserves their performance for their clubs, and still expect to be given first preference ahead of deserving players.
