Royal AM lost 5-1 away to Mamelodi Sundowns last night. The visitors had Kefilwe Mabote and Somizi Mhlongo as their celebrity guests.

Since Royal AM made it to the DSTV Premiership last season, Ma Mkhize has been able to garner the support of many. This includes the support of former Orlando Pirates diehard Mama Joy Chauke.
Celebrities Somizi Mhlongo and Kefilwe Mabote were also in attendance at Loftus Versfeld last night. They joined the usual gang of Shauwn Mkhize, Andile Mpisane and Shaun Stylist, among others.

Despite the support of these celebrities, Thwihli Thwahla suffered a humbling 5-1 loss away to the champions.
“We started the game very well and even in those moments if we’re clinical enough, I think we would have been 2-0 up.” John Maduka told SuperSport TV after the loss.
“And after that maybe we though the game is going to be easy and we started to give them space and time on the ball and we know with the quality that they have, give them time and space, they will hurt you and exactly what happened.
“We conceded a goal that we’re not supposed to concede. We have numerical advantage, but we allowed them to combine and be able to get that goal, we were slow in defence.
“The second goal again, a back pass, a miscommunication, we conceded. Teams like Sundowns, they wait for you to make mistakes and with the quality that they have, you make a mistake they punish you and exactly that happened.” He added.
