France demolished Bafana Bafana 5-0 in an international friendly last night. South Africans did not take too kindly to the rout in Lille.
There is no way that any logical South African expected anything from last night’s encounter. It was a fixture between the reigning FIFA World Cup champions and a team that hasn’t qualified for a World Cup since 2002, a total of twenty years.
