Gordon Igesund man fought hard till the dying minutes of the game. The Lions of North are feeling the heat at the bottom of the log and now they are left with 10 games and they will fight till the last minute of the league to make sure that they stay in the top flight league in South Africa.

Highlands Park in action

Not only is Highlands Park feeling the heat but Baroka FC are bottom of the table with 14 points after 20 games and they drew in the Polokwane derby against Polokwane City. The Polokwane derby ended in a 0-0 draw but it was filled with fun and entertainment. Free State Stars who lost to Highlands Park are third from the bottom of the table with 18 points and they have been stuck there since last year when they survived relegation and there was speculation of selling the team. Now the team woes continue but the last 10 games will decide who stays and who does not.

In the KZN derby, Golden Arrows were the better side against Maritzburg United. Maritzburg United are having a slow season but they are steady in the league sitting 8th on the table. On the other hand, joint log leaders Supersport United drew with Ajax Cape Town at home. This means that Supersport blew their chance to climb up the table. The league just got interesting and exciting and it is hard to say who will be victorious at the end of the season.
