Kaizer Chiefs Look Forward to Playing at The Moses Mabhida Once Again! Amakhosi take on the Natal Rich Boyz on Saturday night.

Kaizer Chiefs will play Richards Bay FC in the DSTV Premiership this weekend. They will play in Durban for the first time since 2019, before the coronavirus outbreak.

The Glamour Boys have the largest following in the country. They have a nationwide fanbase, and this essentially converts all their away games to home games.

On Saturday, 20 August 2022, they will host Kwa-Zulu Natal outfit in their very own province.

“We are overjoyed to be coming back to our second home after such a long absence,” Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director Jessica Motaung said to the club media.

“We have really missed the wonderful atmosphere created during our Durban home games and can’t wait to reunite with them at a packed Moses Mabhida stadium. We call on all our fans to turn out in huge numbers and recreate the incredible vibe that we get whenever we play a home game at Moses Mabhida.

“Get your tickets early and we’ll see you there!” she concluded.

Amakhosi are coming from a harrowing 4-0 defeat to the hands of champions Mamelodi Sundowns. This was a harsh reality check after they defeated Maritzburg United before that encounter.

Arthur Zwane and his technical team have been preparing for the match against Richards Bay since that loss.

“We reflected and took some lessons from Saturday’s game. Our focus and energy are now fully on the upcoming game as we need to collect points.

“We know it won’t be easy, but we will prepare adequately for Richards Bay.” 10111 said to the media.
