Kaizer Chiefs lost 1-0 at home to SuperSport United in the DSTV Premiership on Saturday night. Head coach Stuart Baxter was left complaining about the quality his side showed.

The hosts created a flurry of clear-cut chances which they simply could not tuck away. The longer the game remained 0-0 the more confidence Matsatsantsa grew.

Eventually, striker Thamsanqa Gabuza scored for the visitors. This proved to be the only goal as the game ended 1-0 to Andre Arendse and SuperSport United.

“A good transition goal on their part but on our part is a poor goal to give away. So, stats don’t win you games, possession doesn’t win you games, putting the ball between the posts is what wins game.

“So, I think that’s one thing we got to look at certainly but definitely we got to finish some of this good play so that we can get the result not just a pat on the back after the game.” He spoke
