Stuart Baxter Wants Kaizer Chiefs To Erase Defensive Mistakes! Amakhosi will play the Chilli Boys tomorrow afternoon.

Kaizer Chiefs travel to face Chippa United in the DSTV Premiership tomorrow afternoon. Head coach Stuart Baxter is looking to witness an improved defensive effort from his team.

Kaizer Chiefs are on a four match winless run at the moment. This has curtailed their somewhat positive start to the new campaign.

Their only win of the season came in a 2-1 win over Baroka FC in their second league match of the season. They have since struggled to grab hold of their matches.

The Glamour Boys controversially drew 1-1 away to AmaZulu in their last league fixture.

“The last game we played was AmaZulu, before the international break. The performance was ok in many ways and not so ok in many other ways.” He said in a press-conference.

“We’re still working to take advantage of our situations better and more effectively. And to stop the one or two mistakes that we’re allowing people in most games, so that we bring ourselves under pressure and we start having to chase the game,

“So, if we can do that, then I think that in many ways we’re on the right track.

“Obviously we worked hard, with the reduced squad through the international break. We’ve got the players back today.

“All of them, back in full training. So, we did a proper session.” He added.

Kaizer Chiefs had the likes of Bruce Bvuma, Njabulo Blom and Njabulo Ngcobo in the Bafana Bafana squad which recently played Ethiopia in back-to-back matches.

“All the lads coming back from Bafana are in good spirits. Obviously because they got a couple of good results” the Scot said.
