Absa Premiere Champions Sundowns continue to represent SA well on the continent. Hard fought win over Zamalek to book a place in the CAF Champions League semi-finals. The Brazilians won 1-0 over Zamalek last night at Lucas Moripe Stadium. Sundowns books spot in the next round of the CAF CL.

An own goal from Ali Mossad Gabr deep into the second half, not only sealed the Brazilians place in the final four, but also confirmed them as Group B winners.
With pressure mounting, Sundowns finally found the decisive goal in the 79th minute. Gabr steering the ball into the back of his own net following a low cross by second-half substitute Percy Tau.
Sundowns’ next game is against Enyimba on the 23rd of August.
