Sundowns MDC Champions away in Netherlands

Sundowns’ MDC side are currently enjoying a mini-tour of Holland as reward for their victory in the league this season, playing against Dutch opposition as well as training with some of their coaches.

Having drawn 1-1 with PEC Zwolle on Monday, the MDC boys are set to face a host of teams in the inaugural MDC International Challenge today, before ending their trip with a clash with AZ Alkmaar on Saturday.  Johan Neeskens and Alje Schut spent time with the MDC champions showing them around and advising them on the professional level in the the Dutch league. Schut was Mamelodi Sundowns captain while still playing in SOuth Africa.

The youngsters will be eager to leave their mark on anyone watching their games, and their club will be happy to see their youngsters getting recognition following the success of the senior side both domestically and on the continent. This is a great opportunity for the MDC champions to make sure they are exposed and play their hearts out in impressing European scouts.
