Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tiyani Mabunda through his foundation Mabunda Foundation is playing a great role to heal broken hearts and spirits in society by channelling his resources and energy towards reforming and rehabilitating prisoners( so called societal outcasts).
Mabunda has been a force for good in society with his social investment initiative focussed on Boksburg Correctional Service where he has launched a soccer league for inmates to while up their time playing sport as part of their reformation and overall reintegration into society.
The deeply religious and spiritual Sundowns defensive midfielder Mabunda is choosing to see light where others only see darkness and offering a much needed support system for prisoners who need to be swiftly reintegrated into societal structures.
Mabunda (31) recently posted pictures on his Instagram page quoted in bible verses where he does not seek to judge others but focus on protecting society for the greatest good of the greatest number.
” If you want to heal a nation heal also the broken men in it. Help them change for good, then will you have protected the women and children.”
” If you want to heal a nation heal also the broken men in it. Help them change for good, then will you have protected the women and children.
In the Prisons is where you also find these broken men in one place.” said Mabunda in one Instagram post.
Mabunda is truly a beacon of hope and suitable role model for both the young and the old as he is a much needed force of change for societal good.
