Sundowns set for Rumble in Kinshasa.

Current African champions Mamelodi Sundowns are currently in the Democratic Republic of Congo and are set for a grudge match in Kinshasa against AS Vita Club. Last season Sundowns went on to become the Kings of Africa, ironically they were eliminated by the very same opponents in the last leg of games before the group stages.

AS Vita Club were eleminated due to fielding an illegitimate player earlier on in the competition and their spot was given to Sundowns who went on to become the Champions. Sundowns who were then already on off-season had to gear up and fight in the group stages.

AS Vita however did not take this lightly and cried foul. Earlier on in the season Sundowns requested a friendly game against Vita and the latter turned down the request. We can surely expect fireworks on Wednesday night, Sundowns will surely not have it easy knowing how hostile it can get in Kinshasa.
