Sundowns Signs A New Young Defender From Scotland
Pitso Mosimane is strengthening his squad than what it was last season with signing new fresh players. Mamelodi Sundowns were crowned 2015/16 champions,but Pitso wants his side to be crowned champions next season and he know it’s going to be tough. That’s why he’s strengthening his squad with new young players. Sundowns signs a new young defender from Scotland.
The young defender decided to come back to his birth country. According to Soccer Laduma the 22-year-old, who recently left Scottish Premier League outfit, Ross County, was spotted by Siya sources at Chloorkop recently, with Pitso Mosimane and his technical team are currently running the rule over him.
Despite his tender age, Holden made over 60 appearances in the English Football League during his time with Hartlepool United after making his debut at just 17 back in 2011, and now looks to be set on bringing his talents back home.
After being born in Krugersdorp in 1993, the defender left South Africa at a young age and moved to England before landing up in Hartlepool’s academy. Now, years later, the youngster seems intent to show the country of his birth what he can do on the field.
