SuperSport Sign Sundowns’ Player On-loan
SuperSport United yesterday confirmed the arrival of Ricardo Goss from Mamelodi Sundowns on a two-year-loan. Goss reunites with Matsatsantsa head coach Gavin Hunt after spending two seasons together at Bidvest Wits before joining Sundowns.
CEO of SuperSport Stan Matthews said about the new acquisition, “We are very happy to welcome Ricardo to the club for the next two seasons.
Our Head Coach Gavin Hunt has worked with Ricardo extensively and rates him very highly. We look forward to him contributing to success on the field for us and for him to then be challenging for a place in Bafana Bafana again.”

New signing Ricardo Goss adds, “I am very excited to join SuperSport United and I have been welcomed warmly by the boys. There are familiar faces in the camp, which made it easier for me to settle in the team. SUNDOWNS UNVEIL WILLIAMS
Williams is the second player to be unveiled for the reigning champions ahead of the new campaign, as the National Team Captain joined Masandawana on a 5-year deal. Williams has enjoyed a prestigious career with both his former club as well as his country, where he has accumulated over 250 appearances at the club, as well as earning 25 caps for his country.
Upon confirming his deal, Williams said: “I feel amazing, there is a lot of excitement, finally I’m here. I’m happy to be part of such a prestigious team in South Africa and in Africa as a whole, I feel at home already.”

Ronwen will meet with familiar faces when he joins the camp, as he reunites with former teammates from club and country. “Sundowns has a wonderful record of adding trophies, I am looking forward to adding to the trophy cabinet. I have seen the Yellow Nation at the stadium, I’ve witnessed the atmosphere that they create for the players, they really are the 12th man and I’m excited to play for them – I am going to give my utmost best.”
