SuperSport United Release Three New Umbro Kits! The Pretorians released a home, away and alternative kit. These news kits are ahead of the 2020/21 PSL season which kicks off on the 17th of October.
SuperSport United will traditionally wear their blue striped shirt for home games. For away games, they have gone for a striking red.
This is not the first time that Matsatsantsa will have a red away strip. And then for fixtures where an alternative kit is required, they have an all-white shirt.
They released a statement on their website following the kit release:
“SuperSport United Football Club have launched their new Umbro jersey for the 2020-2021 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season on Thursday.
The new jersey launch was held at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville, Tshwane.
The new kit was paraded by the Matsatsantsa senior players and student models from the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).
The jersey colours are in the United’s traditional royal blue for the home matches, red for the games on the road and the alternative strip.
Players who paraded the kit included skipper Ronwen Williams, Bradley Grobler, Teboho Mokoena and the Zimbabwean international Kuda Mahachi.”
SuperSport will get the opportunity to don their new kit when they face Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in the MTN 8. They will travel to the PSL new boys next week Saturday (17 October 2020)
SuperSport will then host playoff survivors Black Leopards on the 24th of October at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. This will be their first league game of the season as SuperSport United release three new Umbro kits!
