Mutodi Neshehe’s passing was confirmed yesterday by a member of the family. This shook close friend of his David Mogashoa, the Chairman of Swallows FC.
“It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mutodi Neshehe on July 1, 2021. He was our brother, uncle, father, mentor, role model and actor. He will be sorely missed by his family and close friends,” the statement published by the family read.
Mogashoa recalled many moments which he shared with the actor. He was a public Swallows FC celebrity supporter.
“My Mayor. Mutodi would call me and just burst out laughing. Then I will just laugh with him and when we are done laughing he will tell a joke and say.
“I was just checking on you brother” Mogashoa recalled.
Neshehe made his name on a variety of South African television shows. This includes the likes of Muvhango, Jacob’s Cross, Egoli and Generations: The Legacy.
