Cape Town City FC Releases Statement On Eric Tinkler’s Departure! As reported earlier, Coach Tinkler has left Cape Town City FC for SuperSport United despite having had signed a three year contrat with his now former club CTCFC.

“CTCFC is saddened to announce that coach Erik Tinkler has broken his three year contract, just weeks before pre-season. He exits the club after just one season by his choice through a buyout clause. The club, management, players, fans and entire City of Cape Town are as determined as ever to show resolve and stand up for our footballing vision,” the statement reads.

The club says it has received many offers to fill in the position and has already  narrowed it down to just one. “We will be announcing the new CTCFC Head Coach within the next seven days,” the club says in the statement.
