A striker is a finisher, a player that takes chances and carries the hopes of a team on his shoulders in completing the task. The coach sends the striker to complete the task and this season some players have managed to do that and some have failed and have performed poorly for strikers. What is a striker when he does not score goals?

No doubt Tendai Ndoro started the season a high with double figures before the first break of the season. While Ndoro was trying to find his scoring ways back, Lebogang Manyama emerged and now he is on tie with 11 goals. He is captain fantastic who scores winning goals for City and City is joint log leaders and deserving league contenders. Now that both strikers have 11 goals, in the last 10 games it will be decided by goals who emerges as the best striker to take the accolade for Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot.
