S.A footballers have become targets of gold digging women

Being a South African professional footballers carries the danger of attracting women that are merely interested in squandering the hard earned money of footballers.

Several cases of footballers squandering their money on women and booze have been reported making it vital for clubs to educate their players on spending habits.

Phil Masinga is a classical example of of a player that once had money but ended up penniless owing to bad spending habits. It was reported Masinga’s money attracted gold diggers and eventually the former Bafana Bafana star ended up with nothing.
