Teko Modise Return To Training

Former Bafana Bafana international midfielder Teko Modise was not part of the team that defeated Chippa United 2-1 on Saturday at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe stadium in Atteridgeville, in the first round of the Telkom Knockout due to an eye infection, which Mamelodi Sundowns coach said it has spread from one eye to the other.

As such infections are usually contagious‚ Modise stayed away from the match and has been absent for several training sessions.

But officials confirmed he was back in training with the rest of the squad without any signs of ill effects and ready to return to action.

Bafana ba style will not play again until (Sunday‚ October 18) when they welcome Polokwane City at Atteridgeville. The navogator’s  important role in the Sundowns team role is seen by his consistent selection by Mosimane, He is expected to be ready for the next match against Rise and Shine
