Thabo Rakhale Hopes Dylan Kerr Will Change TTM’s Fortunes! The new Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila boss takes on Maritzburg United this evening.
TTM have a rotten record this season in the DSTV Premiership. They are one of the most underwhelming sides this season.
Tshakhuma have scored only 7 goals from 14 matches this season. Their only win in the new year is a 1-0 win over SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup last week.
This victory was not enough to salvage Joel Masutha’s job. His replacement, Dylan Kerr, has had one week to prepare his charges for the challenge they have this evening.
Thabo Rakhale is hopeful that Dylan Kerr will help the side stave off relegation this season.
“It’s been too long without a win in the league. I don’t remember how it feels like to win a league game anymore. We can’t keep on losing like this.” Rakhale told Sowetan.
“The preparations for the league game are going well. After our cup win, the mood has improved in the camp. We are going for the three points. We are tired of losing,” he added.
Rakhale admits that it is too early to judge how Kerr will perform at the club. He has only been Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila for only week.
“He has been here for a few days. Let’s wait and see what will happen. But we are willing to give him a chance, he’s our new coach. He seems to know what he is doing,” Rakhale concluded.
