Thatayaone Ditlhokwe Not Feeling Pressure of Joining Kaizer Chiefs! The defender will complete his transfer when the season ends in June.
Thatayaone Ditlhokwe will join Kaizer Chiefs as a free agent after signing a pre-contract earlier in the year. He claims he has already dealt with pressure in his career.
The defender will leave SuperSport United on a free, at the end of June. As the captain of the Botswana national team, he believes that he is already used to dealing with pressure in his career.
“One thing I can tell you is that I’m the captain of the national team, I’m a player for the national team,” Ditlhokwe told SABC Sport earlier in the week.
“I captained my national team at the age of 21, so I don’t think there’s any pressure which can be more than what I’ve already passed through.
“It’s just a normal challenge that every player can face. That’s why I say for you to grow you must have challenges, there’s no player that can grow without having challenges.” He added.
Amakhosi finished the season without the trophy, for the ninth consecutive campaign. This is something Ditlhokwe is adamant to finish it.
“I need to win trophies. I need to play in continental competitions like the Champions League and CAF [Confederations Cup].
“That’s what I’m looking forward to as a player.
“That’s what I’m trying every time and at every training session so that I can grow as a player and win those things because you don’t just win them for the sake of winning.” He added.
The club he leaves, SuperSport United, have finished higher than Amakhosi in the DSTV Premiership this season. Thatayaone Ditlhokwe Not Feeling Pressure of Joining Kaizer Chiefs!
