In the Champions League, the team qualified from the group stage with three wins, two draws and one defeat. They will now look to turn around the 2-1 home defeat in the first leg of the round of sixteen to keep their title aspirations alive.
If they do qualify, Zidane’s side will face either Olympique Lyon or Juventus in the quarter-finals over a single match on 15 August at the Jose Alvalade in Lisbon. In the semi-finals, they would face the winner of Napoli/Barcelona-Chelsea/Bayern Munich in a match to be played on the 19th of that month at the same stadium. The final will be played on 23 August at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica. All the matches will be at 9pm.
