He was given special commiserations by his former club Napoli last night. They took on Roma at home in the Serie A.
Napoli and kit manufacturer Kappa designed a special 4th kit for the season. The kit is a striped blue and white shirt.

It resembles the Argentina shirt that Maradona wore and it also resembled the connection he had with Napoli in his time in Italy.
Lorenzo Insigne pulled out a #10 Maradona shirt after scoring a beautiful free kick.
In the 10th minute, the game went to a complete halt of both sets of players gave the late Maradona a round of applause. The number 10 shirt has been retired by Napoli since he left the club.

The club has already confirmed that their stadium name will be changed to include Diego Armando Maradona’s full name.
Napoli eventually ran out 4-0 winners over Roma. A fitting scoreline to remember Diego Maradona.
