The Kaizer Chiefs Squad That Won Their First Ever Title In PSL Era! Amakhosi won their first ever league title in its new format in 2004.

Kaizer Chiefs is the most successful club in the history of South African football. They have amassed over 50 trophies since their inception.

The last time however, that Chiefs won a title was in 2015 under Stuart Baxter. They were crowned the 2015 ABSA Premiership Champions.

They have since failed to win any trophy since then. Despite this, no team has been able to cover the gap in trophies which they have.

In addition to this, they are also the most supported club in Sub-Saharan Africa. Before the covid-19 pandemic, Chiefs was pulling in the most fans in the DSTV Premiership.

In 2004, while it was still called the Castle Premiership, Kaizer Chiefs won their first ever league trophy in the PSL era. They were led by the legendary Ted Dumitru.

It was a classic team which boasted the likes of Patrick Mabhedi, John “Shoes” Mosheu, Thabo Mooki, Collins Mbesuma, et al.
