The Sandawana Yellow Nation Gives Manqoba Mngqithi Much Joy! This season has seen supports been able to finally fill up grounds.

Mamelodi Sundowns plays against Sekhukhune United in the DSTV Premiership tomorrow afternoon. Co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi is appreciative of the supporters who come in their numbers.

The Masandawana faithful are probably the luckiest supporters in the country. They bear witness to continuous success and new historic feats.

So, for them being able to attend Mamelodi Sundowns matches is not a job, but a privilege. And this season they have made sure to attend all four of their league encounters thus far.

Manqoba Mngqithi is thankful to their support.

“Firstly, one must thank the Yellow Nation for the support that they are giving to us.” He told the club media.  

“Because ever since the stadiums have opened it has looked very good. In our first match in Cape Town, we had a very decent crowd away from home and it felt like we were playing at home.

“Against Kaizer Chiefs I think I saw the rise of the yellow nation into a level that one would want to keep for the longest of times and one would wish that the yellow nation can continue to support us. Regardless of if we are playing home or away, we would like to have those decent crowds because they drive us.

“Their singing and beating of the drum always drive us and we really appreciate their presence in the stadiums.” He concluded.
