The Top 10 Football’s Deadliest Goalscorers Of 2019

The major purpose of playing football is to score goals and it is goals that decide match results determining the victors and the defeated. Here we take a look at the most lethal forwards in 2019, who have achieved incredible results with their teams.

Messi, Lewandowski, Aguero, Cavani and Benzema all featured here have been very lethal in front of goal for nearly a decade competing amongst themselves to outclass the other with young blood such as Mbappe, Tammy Abraham, Sterling and Neymar seemingly ready to take up the mantle.

The most notable and prominent exclusions on the list below are Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez among the world’s most recognised forwards. Ronaldo’s move to Italy seems to have led to the goals drying up at the level to which he used to score at Real Madrid.

1) Kylian Mbappe (PSG)

82 minutes per goal
Goals per appearance: 0.91
Total goals: 31
Appearances: 34
Minutes played: 2550

Kylian Mbappe, apparent heir to the throne been vacated by the aging pair of Messi and Ronaldo is really quite ridiculous, with a goal every 82 minutes in 2019.

Lionel Messi is a goal machine – there’s no better way to put it. He simply scores for fun and over the last few years he’s broken quite a few records in the process.
