Themba Zwane Wants To Be A Mamelodi Sundowns Legend! The midfielder has already accomplished a lot in his years with Mamelodi Sundowns. Themba Zwane still has a lot to offer as he aims to become a club legend.

Themba Zwane has become the master of trebles. Last night at the PSL Awards, Themba Zwane scooped an individual treble.

He won the ABSA Premiership Midfielder of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season and Footballer of the Season.

This comes on top of the treble winning 2019/2020 season with Mamelodi Sundowns.

Zwane now wishes to achieve even more and earn himself legendary status at Mamelodi Sundowns.

“It was a great season, working with these talented guys at the club, as they pushed me to play my best and everyone on the team was working hard.

“We as a team are in a great environment, we want to push and win trophies, as that is what our club is about,” Zwane said on the Sundowns website.

“I want to continue to fight for the team, I want to achieve more. Some players, such as Surprise Moriri, have played for the club before me, and players like him inspire me.

“They are legends of the team and I too, oneday want to be a legendary Sundowns player.

“We’ve been doing well and working with the coaches preparing for the new season. It feels good, we are ready to do battle.

“I know it won’t be easy, but we are going to go out and fight till the end.”

Mamelodi Sundowns take on Kaizer Chiefs in the DSTV Premiership opener this weekend.
