Thembinkosi Lorch Reappears On Social Media During Court Case! The star player had gone off the radar after he was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. Lorch’s court case has been postponed to the 27th of October.
Thembinkosi Lorch was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend Nokuphiwa Mathithibala. The delay was granted to allow for disclosure of the contents of the docket to his legal representative.
This is after Lorch made his second appearance in court yesterday (8 October 2020), as EWN reports. He was released on R2 000 bail on September 7th after initially appearing in court.
Soon after yesterday’s court case had been adjourned, he took to social media. The Orlando Pirates man wrote:
“The Universe is saying to you today: “Even though your progress may at times seem slow or difficult, trust that positive progress is being made on every level. If you have been over-loading yourself and taking on too many things at once, take time out to lighten the load and give yourself some extra love and care”
Before this, Lorch had already been slowly reintegrating himself into the public eye once again. On the other hand, the alleged victim has had to endure as Lorch continues to go unpunished.
Soon after the court delayed the case, Nokuphiwa Mathithibala, the victim, wrote on her social media. “I AM CONTENT!!” Mathithibala said.
As a result of this hearing, Lorch has missed the opportunity to be part of the Bafana Bafana camp that played Namibia last night. The South Africans take on Zambia on Sunday evening.
