Thembinkosi Lorch Saves Bucs
In a much anticipated and spoken about fixture between Orlando Pirates and Supersport ended in a 1 all draw. Supersport United drew first blood with a goal from Thabo Mnyamane, a man who seems to have the Bucs number each time Supersport plays Bucs. Mnyamane did it last year when Supersport beat Bucs 1-0 in a Telkom Knockout clash.
The game was a game of two halves with Supersport taking the first half and Bucs bouncing back to take on the second half and even equalizing. Lorch is the man who equalized for Bucs with a beautiful right foot strike that gave the Bucs a point to take home.
It must be said that Supersport United was punished by the referee who denied them a goal that was scored by Jeremy Brockie and the strike was ruled as off side but it was Patrick Phungwayo who played him on side. Besides the goal Supersport were denied a penalty after Ayanda Gcaba fouled Brockie in the box. We have seen those tackles ruled as penalty but it was not the day that it was given. This is the third Bucs draw and second draw for Supersport since the second leg of the PSL.
